Board of Directors meeting

November 15th, 2007

Attendees: Glen Spellan, Dan Peckham, Steve Cliff, Debbie Ryan, Paul Dittman, Bob Ryan, Dave Strasenburgh, Skip Scroger and Marv Bieber.

Discussion on permits for alcohol. Biggest factor is the liability issue. The club is not insured if alcohol is served by Lions Club International.

Concerns over the Christmas party. Lion Gary Kludt holds his Company’s party on December 15th. Very difficult for him to chair the Lion’s Christmas party when he can’t attend. Suggestions are to hold the Christmas party at the Village Inn in Albion on Saturday, December 15th, or Thursday, December 20th.

Lion Dave makes motion to move the Christmas Party to the 20th, 6 to 9pm. Have members bring a dish to pass. This will be brought up to the members for a vote.

Meeting adjourned.
